i used to devise lists like constantly. at one point a few years ago i had a kind of master list of 'sublime' songs that always moved me irresistibly in one way or another, so i'm just going to take the first ones that come to me.
last album bought: tales from turnpike house - saint etienne
five songs that mean a lot to me, or that i play a lot:
1. 'maria de verdade' - marisa monte
2. 'ox4' - ride
3. 'in the days before rock and roll' - van morrison
4. 'made in valmez' - mnaga a zdorp
5. 'i'm in love with rastaman' - mahlathini and the mahotella queens
now playing: ipod says... 'anniversary' - ronnie lane & slim chance
(whew! i was afraid rachel stevens would shuffle up and spoil my rep! :)
or you can always look at audioscrobbler
passing the baton to (where is ilisu when you need her?!):
